How can I fix my Gardtec 360/580 (Gardtec 300/500 series)?

The double glazing enegineers have fitted new front and rear doors and frames and have ripped the sensors off leaving no indication of which colours were used to connect the contacts any chance you can advise on this. cable colours are red, black, yellow, white and green. System is about 10 years old

Open the control panel (usual site caveats apply regarding electrical shock potential) look at Zone 1 (usually the front door) to see what colours are used - this will need to be connected to the zone terminals at the contact on the front door (usually a different colour terminal - brass or silver colour). Look next at the tamper terminals - note the colours used - these will need to be joined together at the door contact. Repeat with the other zones (back door).
