Hi,
I have bought a second hand Saxo 1.1, After only a week one starting the engine and to move of the steering became very stiff, really difficult to move, But would do so after about 100yrds, A few days later the problem contined but the left and side of the engine was making a high pitched noise.
I have taken it back to the garage, Who hve said they have replaced the relay,Granted the problem has gone, And steers as it should the noise has generally gone, but comes on for a few seconds when turning a corner.
Does this mean the problem has not been rapaired correctly, or the new part needs time to run in, or could it be the problem was the relay and possibly somthing else.
the car is a saxo 1.1 and the year is 2001, On top of the the car when bought was given a mot, warrenty, and service, Yet the garage says i must pay for the work, even though i have only had the car 4 weeks.
Given what they have done to the car before purchase i would not have expected such a major problem occuring, unless the problem was underlying before i bought it.
Thanks
Paul
