worn axle shaft or bearings.pull machine out to access rear.run machine loaded if u hear a a metal to metal noise from rear of machine its as above.there again u could have just a noisy motor,extra weight the motor has to work harder and if the bearings are dry....u need try astertain where the noise is.motor is under the drum,bearings to the back only other thing is waterpump but this is usualy noisy all the time if faulty
