Mend Samsung TXR2035 Plug Power Change

how can i fix a tv plug?

the prongs on tv plug were charred with deposits on them do i need to replace tv plug ,or and the power cord if i half to change does anyone have any directions im not to handy the tv repair said it would cost $50.00 ANY help would really be appreciated the tv is a samsung txr2035

why did it get charred.. like you say?..
is there a major fault with the unit itself?.

hi there.
have you managed to fix your plug yet?
i was on here and noticed yor question.. i would think you need to replace the cable too.. as it may have got over heated and melted the core of the wires..
