I have just moved into a new house that has this secruity alarm fitted, I am wanting to use it as it works because when you put the fuse in the alarm sounds but I don't have a pin number for it. Could you please let me know how I would go about resetting the alarm so as I can use it? Is there any way I can do this without having to buy a new box? Please help.
I require a complete 9448 engineers manual crashed the system ,user has not got the engineers manual so i can reprogram it for them

And it will default the rest of the programming as well.

you need to power down your control panel mains and backup battery short out the rest pins on the main pcb with a screw or something similar power up with the battery remove the short this will change the code back to 1234

You shouldnt need to buy a new control panel - you simply need it recoded. Its unlikely you will have access to an engineering manual or the expertise to carry out the programming - best to contact a local engineer who can do this for you - a simple job.
