try linking out the tamper circuit on the pcb for the bell ov and tr. if this clears the tamper then it may be the bell battery or the cabling itself although a power cut would cause a cable fault. also make sure the lid tamper switch on the main panel is located properly and that you can hear it click when you close the box - good luck.
