How can I fix my sportcraft TX 4.9 tredmill?

I turn on the tredmill and set the speed and it beeps to start and does not start. it counts to 10 seconds then shuts off, and the speed goes to 3.

If you have error code 7 on Sportcraft TX 4.9 try pushing stop and mode remove key and replace while still holding the 2 buttons and hold 30 seconds or longer. Just tried with mine and screen reset.

my tx 4.9 sport craft. it stopped with 23sec.left on the clock. now all the numbers shoe 8.all the way across. thanks i need help .can't buy a new one. call or text at 205 300 8363

The speed
sensor is connected to the frame of the treadmill near the drive pulley on the front right roller.Take the plastic case off , only 4 small screws , There is a
small magnet or two on a plastic disk over the roller - pull this plastic piece over to the edge of roller on the side of the pulley wheel. The sensor tip must be close to this wheel to work - turn it on now and it should work right

My tx 4.9 treadmil turns on but as doon ad it get hoing it changes the speed to 3 n then turns off...plz help

I have turned on my treadmill and the it's plugged up in the wall but it will not turn on.

My sportcraft wasn't working wouldn't turn on and I checked the fuse which is located at the front of the the unit. Also just an inch and a 1/2 away is the on/off switch. I have children and they like to play with things. Make sure that the switch is to on.

see if timing wheel and senser on front spool are clean and that senser is lined up and tight. they sometimes get dirty. this can cause the senser not to read the timing wheel. also check the fuse could be bad. had same problem. so I pulled the center board from between the belt to clean and relube it. was checking spools for damage and found timing wheel and sensor on right hand side.

Called the support staff, they sold me bunch of parts that didn't solve anything. It's bad workmanship on Sportcraft's part. Treadmill sucks!

I have the TX 4.9 tredmill, totally not running, the only digit I see on the display is the speed of 7..Any way I can reset that?

Call Sportcraft (800) 526-0244. They have pretty good support services. They can walk you thru this problem and help you reset your treadmill. We had the same problem, but it was a couple of years ago, but the Sportcraft staff helped immensely.
