mercedes immobiliser problem. mercedes c220 auto 1995 elegance?

Got a s class 320 CDI 2003. Decides it only starts/phob open doors, after about 2 o'clock in the afternoon and not before (works fine, engine starts). Does anyone have any idea why it won't start before then? Could it be a clock issue or immobiliser issue?

I repeatedly press the fob at the mirror until indicators flash then press once more to get 2 flashes then she starts got used to it now

Hi, i have a Mercedes E220 coupe I changed the batteries on the fob. then its worked for a couple of days now it will not work. fob light works but does not open .Please how do you reset this problem. doug.

what if I don't have the remote? Is there a way to do it with only the key? (my remote is broken)

lock the doors wait 4 mins.... unlock the doors then try the key again and it should start for u , thats what i do to mine!!! always works for me:)'

fooltagraon78, i think to fix the unlocking problem, hold down the lock button until you hear a beep and it should reset itself

My Immobiliser Key remote does not work, i have rang up Mercedes dealership and they are a rip off.......any suggestions where i can get my immobiliser working????? please.....Rude Customer Services ppl Mercedes have.....

I am having the same problem with my 1995 c280, the car will not start when using the key in the ignition. I was reviewing some of the other blogs, and you guys were talking about using a key fob. And I would like to know what a key fob is, if that is the keyless entry remote, then I have BIG problem "I DONT HAVE THEM" so what would I do now to start my car? Oh yeah one more question, My door lock button on the dash does not lock and unlock the doors, what is causing this and what do I do to fix this?

if the red and green lights are flashing then using the remote button to lock and then unlock the doors, this will reset the immoboliser and allow you to start the car.

I had the same problem with my 1996 C280. Try removing the batteries from your keyfob, then disconnect your car battery for a few seconds. Re-connect your car battery, insert the batteries in your fob, then unlock your car with the fob and insert the key into ignition slot, turning to position II for a few seconds. This solved it for me, hope it does the same for you.
