sat/nav and dvd when playing or in dvd mode both screens are rolling like virtical hold ajustment on yor tv set = is the an adjustment that can be done to stop this (NISSAN)
have brought a elgrand in new zealand and it has a japanese gps disk inserted. can i buy a english disk for driving around new zealand?

change your signal to ntsc format as this is what the north america and japanese market use

PAL to NTSC convertor is the best and easiest way. Beware of 'regions' on DVD's - USA is NTSC region 1 - Japan is NTSC region 2 - UK is PAL region 2 - they really do try to make life hard don't they!?!? R
egarding SatNav you will find some of the later ones work with Europe software, just depends on the make.

It is rolling because the screen is set for NTSC video format. The uk and Australia use Pal. Try an NTSC DVD. America uses NTSC so any Region 1 DVD from America may work. Failing that a Pal to NTSC converter needs to be purchased.

im in the same boat, as are a few others at elgrand.com. the answer is that is your only way to display anything and your best bet is to stick a gps dongle on a laptop and display thru the av input behind the drivers seat
