help got lights flashing in my Diplomat dishwasher?

The lights are flashing on controls of my Diplomat integrated dishwasher, if you press the cycle you want and shut the door, machine beeps and then nothing. Could anyone tell me if there is a way to re-set the machine (in really easy steps), without having to pull half the kitchen apart to do it, and get it going again.
