Mend Schrieber Day Alarm Light

How to get my schrieber freezer working?

After a day or so the acoustic alarm sounds, red light comes on and the freezer starts to defrost.

I have been told that it is the circuit board that is faulty which is located at the top front and needs replacing and the compressor is fine.

Any ideas ?

did you find ouyt what was wrong with it my freezer is doing the exact same thing, just came home this weekend to find every thing defrosted. just melted all built up ice on coils and testing it out but would reall like to know how you got on
