Mend Tap Taps Basin

How can I fix a loose sink tap?

One of my bathroom sink taps (semi-high spout basin taps) and also my kitchen sink tap (kitchen mono-mixer) is loose at the base and swivels around when trying to use them. How do I tighten them up?

You'll have to get underneath with a spanner matey while someone is holding the tap still.
