whats gone wrong with my sat nav?

my navman icn510 is playing up tried to update maps and it's wiped them off and won't let me back on i need to take it somewhere for someone to look at it any ideas

hi, dave, just looking on here for info on sat navs, mines same year tourer, and does the same thing, i will be swimming alongside you any day, your post was months ago, can you tell me if you sorted it and how., i do notice that the signal is only on every now and again, did yours do the same,

sounds like software error, most GPS systems work on Lat & Long co-ordinates and therefore shouldn't be an problem, if oo the other hand it's using another co-ordinate system then the wrong datum maybe the fault due to software errors. there's nothing you can do to fix it needs to be reprogrammed
