can I download NH 8340 tractor error codes on line?

thank you a lot Jim, i have the same problem in my ford new holland 7840. now i know how to fix it.

Broken fan belt or faulty alternator,tractor picks up engine rpm from "W" connection on alternator and for safety reasons it wont allow pto,edc or transmission to function unless it reads engine rpm.Most dealers are helpful and will give you copy of error codes.
