PEDAL FOR SINGER ZIG ZAG 457?

When you say your pedal is not working, if it is running on with pressing it you will need to open it and take out the suppresser inside and discard it, if the machine is not working at all when you press it, first of all look at the plug on the foot control harness and see if one of the connections is darker than the others, if it is then the chances are that one of the pins has been pushed in on your machine, if you can see all three pins sticking out then try a new foot control, are you in the UK ? if you are go to any sewing machine shop and just buy a replacement foot control, it does not have to be a Singer, YDK is the most favorite, if you are in the US I can give you suppliers of parts without any problem, e-mail me on drivewithken@blueyonder.co.uk if you have any problems with that machine, I don't go back to the questions on this site for answers.
