i have a potterton 10-16 boiler and it seems to have a mind of its own, when the timer shuts off, the boiler keeps going, i have replaced the time clock, but this did not work.my boiler is a potterton 10-16 neataheat. its like its not getting a message to switch off
likely that your motorised valve is faulty and stuck on. this is the box (normally silver) in your airing cupboard. I would normally isolate the electrics and remove the orange wire from the junction box, make safe, and then turn power back on. If the boiler does not fire then you have your fault. I wouldnt recommend messing with the electrics unless you know what you are doing.
