PIR is always on?

Hi, We have recently moved into a new house and the alarm was working fine...until 2 days ago when the landing PIR light came on and wont go off so we can only set the alarm (accenta 6) by omitting that zone.

Can anyone tell me how i can check if it is a faulty PIR and how to replace it if it is?

....i have had a look and there is a wire coming out of the bottom so would it still be a flat battery...?

Stargirl ....... If the PIR is a wireless type ... then its a good chance the battery needs replacing. Don't forget to disable the anti-tamper before unscrewing the front cover off the PIR sensor.
