My Kenmore refrigerator did the same thing. I removed the ice bin and made sure there weren't any ice cubes lodged in the bin. I dumped the ice and allowed the bin to thaw out. That didn't fix the problem, so I realized there is a switch in the back of the freeze behind the ice bin inside of a recessed square opening. I pushed down on the switch until it popped into place and then my ice maker started making cubes again. After dealing with this for months, I was amazed how fast I fixed the issue.
