HOW DO I FINALIZE MY DVDS ON MY BUSH DVHRSO2 COMBI DVD RECORDER?

Seems the firmware of the player isn't up to the grade. I've sent an e-mail direct to Bush to see what their response is going to be.

I'm having problems with my DVHRS02 as well. It is erratic at reading unfinalized discs. One disc it refused to read three times and then decided to play it. Discs I know have info show up as empty. (It also takes a long tome to read them - longer than initializing). When I do Display, it shows I've got about 40 minutes left, so something is there. But the Menu disagrees. I'm using DVD+ discs formats across two ranges, and it behaves the same on both. I also find the dvd/cd player chatters. I've noticed jumping in the dvds I've been able to watch as well as cds I've listened to. It's going back today. I'll keep you up with the result, if I get another.
