Try this - mone was flashing five intermittent and was constantly turning the dial after the initial wash so it might work for you - if it does it is a very simple five minute solution, if not, no harm done but five minutes of your time.
I found an answer on another site that has worked for me...
Unplug machine. Lower end of drain/waste hose into a bucket. Let gravity allow the water to run out. Sounds like a coin/hairgrip etc jammed in drain pump impellor. Check in filter (have a towel handy as there will always be some water left in machine). If clear then possibly pump has failed.
The pump is behind the bottom plastic kick panel at the front. Simply ease the panel off using a screwdiver or flat bladed knife on its top edge (no force required). The pump filter cover is accessed by turning anti-clockwise. (Have a few towels ready if the machine is full of water 'cos it will flood out!!)
When you have dried up, check the impellor behind the filter is clear and free to rotate. Reassemble in reverse order .
It worked for me :-D
