I have a whight knight 767 and it wont rotate unless i take the top off and push the barrel to get it going similiar to myself first thing in the morning. There is obviously power there but not enough to set it going any ideas are very welcome.
Its probably the capacitor mounted on the motor assembly. The WK helpline suggested this, we ordered and fitted the part (about £13) and it is all working fine now.
A warning though, it is about 100 screws and severe determination to remove enough to get to the motor.

I have exactly the same problem with the same make and model of dryer.
One DIY repair site suggested an idler pulley or tensioner problem, but there are no mention of such parts on the spare parts suppliers on the web.
Also, what is the most effective way of getting to the motor? By removing the comlete back panel?
Please, any ideas would be much appreciated.
