I use Maxell DVD+ 4.7GB 1 - 16x DVD's and have no problem. Thinner DVD's probably get too hot under the laser.

ive just had to change my cd player in my 05 plate mondeo as it doesnt recognise MP3's only normal cd's and normal copies and compilations, so if anyones interested i have a 6000 cd player out ov a mondeo for sale and nothing wrong with it

I just passed my test and am also now driving the ford mondeo
The same message appears for me also
When I put in any disc, the error message appears and takes a while to come out again!
Any suggestions?

i have just had a new ford mondeo the same happens to my cd player when trying to play mp3 cds, the guys at ford know about the problem and say to try a fatter disc, have try many times and still not working. if anyone knows which cds work in this car please help.

I know on the Ford Focus,it means something to do which temperature
But I get this error when the car has been in the garage over night
