smelly sink, please help?

Have you checked the U bend , if there is anything in there that is causing self syphonage, peice of material or string which is causing the water that should be running away from the sink or bath to cause smell to travel back up and cause smell in sink or bath, also has the wast pipe got enough incline on it for the water to drain away fast enough , hope this has helped

get a plumber in. It can be any of probably 30 problems.
