Hi,
I have the same problem with a Primera and have tried everything suggested on the net. Today I contacted a local alarm / immobiliser installer to see if he could bypass the immobiliser but as my key has a red mark on it, it's not possable and has to go to the main dealers according to him.
the only other idea I thought of was fitting another ECU and immobiliser unit from a scrap car but would have to keep the keys too so the ecu recognises them but not sure if this would work or not.
Don't know if this helps but if anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate it.
