Mend Gainsborough 9.5kw Trips Fuse Minutes

My 9.5kw Gainsborough shower trips the fuse after a few minutes?

Ive had my 9.5kw Gainsborough shower for over a year now. At first, every few months it would trip the fuse.Now it does it every time after about 3-5 minutes. What could be the problem and how do I fix it? Im curious as to why it has developed over the months? Could it be the shower?
Any help would be great.

Hi,

With a 9.5 kW shower, you need at least a 40 amp fuse. If you have a 30 amp fuse, as is normal for some lower rated showers, it will trip. It may be the case that you got a new more powerful shower but didn't upgrade the fuse...?
