Where can I find a drive belt for a Magic Chef Breadmaker?
I am looking for a drive belt for a Magic Chef Bread Maker, Model #250-2. Mine has worn out. Otherwise the bread maker is fine. I hate to throw out a perfectly good bread machine because of a belt!!! The bread machine was manufactured by Magic Chef and marketed under Wal-Mart back in the late 1990's. The belt is approximately 25" in diameter and 1/4" wide. The outside of the belt looks like tiny railroad tracks. I have looked EVERYWHERE (around town at appliance stores and online) for this belt and cannot locate one. Could you help me out? Even if a similar one that can be substituted is floating around out there somewhere would be great.
We have the same problem with ours, same make/model and everything. We can't complain, we've used it for almost 10 years now. The best way to get a belt for this machine is by measuring it and finding a matching belt at the hardware store. From what I understand, it is the same as a kind of belt for a miter saw. Hope this helps.

Don't know. IF you find out let me know. But, I will say this. I recently bought a used Magic Chef Breadmachine and the belt turned out to be dry rotted and broke. I was disposing of a bread machine by Regal--it appeared to be identical--made in the same factory, different brand name--I took the belt off of it and put it on the Magic Chef--it also broke--but, I'd think if you could find a new belt for a Regal Machine it would work out just as good. Let me know if you find one....as I'd like to get one as well.
