nothing in my vauxhall frontera 93 works except head lights?
nothing in my 93 frontera works except for head lights.so i checked the fuses in wee box beside engine the 60amp fuse was blown.someone told me to cross with a wire to see if this was problem.i did that everything worked but the wire sparked then started to burn so i took it off straight away have you any idea what could be doing this? i would be thankful for any advice you could give me please thank you.
i havent a question but i would like to thank lee for his help. found the problem took me 4 hours cheers couldnt have got there without u. there is a new star in the sky tonight called lee.thanks

you have a massive short somewhere and with todays complex and plentiful wiring your chances are slim without plenty of time on your hands and test gear.
You could try first isolating each consumer in turn from the mains and reinstating the fuse link. This could take a long time and use many fuses but most garages will probably do this anyway. Look for in general any chaffed worn wiring going through bulkheads next to pipes, cables or hot areas.
