How can I fix a soap dispenser pump?

I keep buying this bottles with pumps that just don't work. Is there a trick to it?

I had the same problem. What may work is if you make sure that nothing is stuck in the pump by blowing it out from the bottom end. Then fill the bottle all the way up with water or whatever - and then slowly put the tube of the dispenser into the bottle and screw on. This allows the vaccuum to form. Then start pumping. It should work:)
