How can I fix my Hotpoint (CTD00) condenser tumble dryer?

hi it can be one or two things, the thermostats are broken or the heater element is burnt out or broken. remove the small metal back cover at the bottom left hand corner of machine ( there are two small screws on the face of this plate, remove them after you have taken off the panel. you will now see the heater element look for burn marks if these are aoarent you will need a heater element, if not there are two round discs with wires attachted to the rear, have a look at these discs if either of these are concave (bent inwards) then you can bypass these to check that your machine now works, but as it is electricity we are dealing with I have to suggest you buy replacement stats. I have seen them on ebay for a couple of pounds and it it easy to do.
