my stereo shows as locked and has the number 10 underneath ,?

Hold the number 6 button down for 10 -20 seconds and that resets it to "code 11" on the display. I am not sure if that is the last time you can put the wrong code in or not but it give you another chance. you can crack the code if you have the serial number.
