Mend Panasonic RR2741 Television Repair Picture

Color problem. Tube or PCB/component?

The color on my RR2741 has started to appear as muted horizontal lines across the screen. Blue, Red, green waves instead of solid colors. The actual picture is great, sharp and clear, but not color. Is this an indication of a crt going bad or a repairable component problem?

Hi, I don't think its anything to do with the tube.Its more likely to be interferance or something to do with the chrominance signal processing.Quite differcult to diagnose..You could always try "tapping" the colour circuitry PCB and see if there is possibly a dry joint on the pcb somewhere.
