How do I clear an airlock in my bathroom cold tap?

I would NOT recommend using the vacuum cleaner method. Water and electricity are a rather lethal combination!

I use two tecniques,

The first is to use the bath mixer tap, turn both on full and block the tap with the palm of my hand, it depends on your pressure if this will work

The alternative is to turn the cold on, and put the vacuum cleaner nozzle over it (very effective, if a tad messy)
