my combi boiler not working?

i have a combi 120 response boiler when the hot water is turned on boiler produces hot water when hot tap turned off boiler keeps working and builds up pressure and pipes keep banging then release valve tries to release pressure but we have to either turn boiler off or turn hot tap on also heating system is now not working .I have recently moved in to this house and have no instructions
