electrolux caravan fridge?

I'm having the same troubles. The best I've seen so far is the metal shelf in the ice compartment getting cold. I've seen on you tube that a trick that often works is (as said above) to disturb the refrigerant. Remove the fridge (also shown on you tube) and leave it upside down for a day. When refitted, many will work again. That's what I'm going to try next.

When I put my motorhome fridge on 12 volt while travelling the light lights up but when I get to destination my food is not still chilled or items in freezer box has started to defrost

My electrolux fridge does not seem to work on 240v,12v or gas. swiches light up but no sound from compressor.

Hi, i have a problem with my fridge, i have just baught a caravan believeing it works and it seems to not do. it doesnt get cold on 12v or 240v or gas when you feel the back of the fridge it does get warm but just doesnt get cold inside. it also apears to light on gas too but although it is lit its still doesnt get cold? any ideas?

my electrolux freezer is working but the fridge isnt getting cool this is when its on gas do you have any idea thanks

my electrolux 3 way fridge is not working properly. When on electric the freezer gets cold then a while later it seems to have cut out. Never used it on gas.

if the fridge is on electric or gas or indeed 12volt and the outside vent is getting hot ,then im sorry but fridge is totally u/s,these fridges(caravan or motorhome )cannot be regassed,and only a replacement fridge will sort it,we have been mending fridges for over 20yrs,repairing and selling and servicing

Hi I have just bought the caravan and the fridge apears not to work ? either by 240 or 12 v I have rewired the fridge to 240 volt to a 3 pin plug but still no joy.

my electorlux RM6271 caravan fridge when using the gas the automatic switch keeps clicking and will not go off - but the fridge is working can you assist me in resolving this problem.

take the vent covers off on the outside which gives access to the back of the fridge. Check the gas burner is alight. If not, shut everything down (gas and electrical supply) and clean the sparker terminal just above the gas nozzle. This gets dirty and does not allow the burner to ignite. Dont know if this is your problem but it may help.

You might just need to take it out and "disturb" the refrigerant by inverting the fridge - honestly it often works!!
