closed coupled toilet?

I am going to be fitting a new bath suite and want to replace an older style wall mounted toilet to a close coupled toilet. What will I need to do to change the water inlet and overflow as these will obviously be too high for the new system.
Thanks Clare

not seeing the situation makes it hard.

you can use a flexi. but not being a fan of them they look untidy and don't last like copper.

depending on the standard that you want your bathroom to look, and if you are going to tile the walls i would dig the pipe out of the wall and alter then make good for tiling.

if painting the wall you may be left with marks where you've refilled the pipe channel.

but personally i would relocate the pipe and run in chrome pipe finishs the job off better, it's the little bits that can make or break the job.

thanks. I actually meant a low level cistern is what I have in place converting to a close coupled toilet. Can I use a flexible pipe from the existing water inlet. If not will this mean going into the wall to get to the pipe lower down if you know what I mean? so that it can enter the cistern at a lower level?

overflow not needed so pull your existing plastic pipe out of the wall and fill the hole.

all new toilets have internal overflow that run into the bowl.

water inlet get a plumber or someone that can solder copper pipe to alter it to fit new toilet
