How can i fix a electric window on a renault scenic?

A couple of years ago, both front windows went within a week of each other on my '03 Scenic, but luckily I was still within 3yr warrantee at the time, so they were fixed FOC!

Low and behold a few months later, a service recall came in the post to do with the electric windows! You might like to mention this to your local garage - they probably know about it, but don't want to shell out the "Free" work!

Stefan B - Would love to know where you took your car if that's okay? Just made reference to this with Kings of Taunton (Renault Dealer) and they did not want to know - very very rude to be honest.
Any additional information would be great.

If the car is 04 model or later this seems to be a design fault and is caused by something seriously breaking. Renault UK has extended the 3 year warrenty to 4 to cover this known issue. Note my passenger side window failed and was replaced out side of warrenty free of charge by Renault UK. From what I understand though all windows on the car are prone to this fault
