rover 75 sat nav system?

I wouldn't hold out much hope! I took my Rover 75 to a main Rover dealer to have the sat nav sorted out. Having had the car for a week, and costing me more than £900, the problem is still there. He put his own satnav CD into my car and it didn't work. Put the same back in his Rover car and hey presto, it worked no problem.The dealer says there is nothing else he can do but to replace the whole system which would cost in the region of £1,400!!! He suggested the best thing for me to do would be to invest in one from one of the large electrical stores. Looks as if this is going to be my best - and most economical - option! I've heard of these satnavs being sent back to France and Germany but still the problem can remain.
