Just had that drama with my 52 plate 2.2 SRI. The answer i found was dont bother trying just pay some one to do it and go down the pub or gym for the afternoon. I found it to be a complet pain.

slowly with g clamp or large swan neck pliers,careful of rubber and fluid will overflow out of reservoir
