Mend Renault 97 Megane 1.6 Limp Sensor Valve

renault megane autogearbox problem?

ive got a 97 megane 1.6 auto, its stuck in limp mode and wont change gear, its ok in reverse, the scanner said oil pressure sensor, is it a easy fix or does it need a switch , valve body? any clues? many thanks

Hi if it,s the ad4 type gearbox the oil pressure sensor is on the outside of the gearbox at the front between the bell housing and the sump held on by 2 30 torx bolts.
