my dryer is a whirlpool. its turning on the heat eliment then i hear a click. but no gas. i make sure that the gas is on. i dont know alot about dryers. but i did fix a oven. i know that the oven eliment is not hot enough it does not turn on the gas.

the reason your dryer is cutting out could be restricted airflow causing the thermal overload cutout to shut down the dryer start by making sure your fluff filter is clear hope this is helpfull to you
