I just replaced all the guts inside toilet housing and now it HUMS after flushing, I have adjusted screw up and down but to no avail it still HUMS, Jeff
i had this problem-i had replaced the rubber seals to stop a drip from the overflow. Thing is i had put the rubber seal the ball valve end the wrong way around. The humming stopped once i turned the seal right way up - thank god.

have you got the right flow restricter in the bottom of the float valve.
