PP is always a printer problem. Once the problem is taken care of all you need to do is unplug the power cord and reinsert the cord. Usually the paper is jammed or the ribbon is jammed. You can also can get the same error if there is a small piece of paper or a build up of dust on one of the sensors behind the print head. They are located behind the print head and on each side at the bottom read. The black round wheel on the right side of the printer can cause this problem if filled with paper lint. Blow the inside of the printer out with air once the ribbon is removed. Another cause of this problem is if the printer shaft that the print head slides on has no lubrication on it at all. Once you can push paper thru both side of the printer you should be OK. You have to have the ribbon in the printer for the paper to feed thru. Another point, always feed the paper thru manually and not use the paper feed buttons. There is always a chance the print head will hit the paper when is runs from side to side. There is a diagram on the printer cover (metal cover on top of the printer) showing how to feed the paper manually.
