in the 42 inch sanyo lcd sometimes its just one big black square that covers the entire screen mainly on the left side and darkens the pictures . what should i do?

my 42 inch Sanyo lcd tv has black lines going across the tv,sometimes blocking out the picture,maily on the left side of the screen. How can I fix this problem?i

are they horizontal lines? How many are there? Perhaps retrace lines a problem in the vertical circuit perhaps. You might start by changing the vertical IC.
