I cannot figure out why my television will not tune and keeps going to static when I change the channels- i unplugged the tv and when i plugged it back in this happened i hjave chjecked the arial and it's fine!!!
You say you have checked the aerial but have you substituted it for another, perhaps a set top aerial? If the picture is still the same then I would suspect the tuner at fault or the transmitter is not transmitting.
