wiper fault vauxhall astra?

own a vauxhall astra van 2001 it has an intermitent wiper fault, it works ok when switched on but when switched off it doesnt stop in the same place same when intemitent selected it doesnt stop where supposed to.

its the motor but you can test it by seeing if you have ignition feed on the black/purple wire you can fix the motor by drilling the rivets off the back open it up and clean the contacts inside you will soon see what to clean when you open it use small selftapping screws to put it back together
