what's up with my old panasonic tv? the standby light keeps flashing on?
the tv won't turn fully on. It will come on to standby and then the standby light keeps flashing on and off but i when i point the remote at it and press the red button which is the usual way to turn it on. It won't work. Can i fix this myself or is it up the swanee?
i have a 40inch samsung tv the standby button keeps flasing it wont come on

tx21md1 is the model and the serial number is: 6620501 i've changed the plug incase it was a loose wire but to no avail.

I have the same problem with my TV. It started with a small bang and a smell of smoke! Model TX-36PD30.

Can you provide the model and serial number please. If it is a UK model, they will be on a sticker on the back of the TV. The model number will start TC or TX, (applicable to European models).
