why has the tamper light come on?

I have an accenta 6 alarm, and for no reason the tamper warning light has come on. on the panel it says refer to user manual which i dont have. has anybody any suggestions

Pete, Is there any chance you could send me the user manual for the accenta 6. I have just moved into a public house with this alarm system in. I have managed to reset and change the code but that's about it. wishart32@btinternet.com

ken remove all wires from tamper temimials and fit a link you can phome on 07716142664 kenny

go to accenta website, if they dont have a web site upgrade your product

there is a break in the tamper circuit to a device somewhere, you may need a multimeter to trace it, but first check that none of the PIR sensor covers have popped off ( a common problem, especially after decorating)
