RENAULT CLIO MK 3 ELECTRIC WINDOW?

I have a renault clio 197 2007 sport and the drivers window keeps sticking when going up or down any idea what the problem is

well i had my drivers side window smashed.,it had always been a bit touchy it would never like to go fully down.,the motor that moves the window up n down would click clack past its final stopping point not sure y but it just keeps going lol., anyways iv been tryin to replace the window but the hole in the bottom of the glass to which the up n down motor connects to is always an inch to the left of proper allignment it will push the window up and it will stay there nice n snug,so i kno its the right window for the car,but bcoz the little clip is always just out of reach it wont bring the window back down.,thanx 4 any input.,no worries

renault clio passenger window will go down on electric motor but will not come back up. The button when pressed to make the window go down makes a clicking noise but no noise at all when the button is pressed to make the window go back up. Any ideas how to fix this ?

the driver side window has stopped working,i want to take the panel off but need a star shape tool? where can i get one and is ther anything else i need?

Hello, i have just had exactly the same problem. the window practically left the car. has been a month of problems with our clio. but with the window, seems to be a case of the cable that pullies the window up and down to have snagged as a result of it. It is at such high tension its stupid, but if u can figure a way of re winding it then all good!!!

I have the same issue. As I don't have a workbook I'm just going to take the other size panel off and copy how its done at the other side. Check to see if the metal part is bent. Also check that the middle is going up and down within the side parts that hold the window. Maybe one of them has come loose? Just take the door panel off and check for an easy first first. Might be something like a bolt coming loose.
