diplomat ADP8242.....cant get past drainage stage of cycle?

i just had my dishwasher fixed which had the same problem,all repair man done is turned it off then back on again waited for power light to come on and pushed program cycle buttton, That was it!he said that cycle gets frozen if not turned off each time between washes. Hope this saves you money as what a rip off they are

We have exactly the same dishwasher and exactly the same problem.

The manual does not describe this fault in any way. We believe that the freshwater pump into the machine is faulty.
