My LG washer WF-T1081TP doesn't come on when pressing the on/off button?

I own this model. 5 years old. Had it die on me a couple of years ago. It's probably a blown fuse (inside the control panel) as it was for me. Technician came by and was here for all of 10 minutes. He told me some of the LGs shipped with rather "weak" fuses and techs have been replacing them with more robust parts. This is the ONLY problem I have ever had with this machine. Cheers.
